Then Kīcaka, who was like a Kuru prince, spoke to the princess (Draupadī) and his dear queen (Sudesnā): 'Go, Sairandhrī! Do not remain here. Go to Sudesnā's residence!'

Wives of heroes, devotedly following their husbands, endure hardship. Moreover, by suffering through their service, they conquer the celestial realm of their husbands.

I believe that my husbands (patayaḥ) – your masters – do not yet perceive the opportune moment for their anger (krodha). Therefore, the Gandharvas, resplendent like the sun, are not rushing to punish you.

You are ignorant of the proper time (akālajñā), O Sairandhrī; you roam about like an actress (śailūṣī). You are causing a disturbance for the Matsyas who are gambling in the royal assembly. Go, O Sairandhrī! The Gandharvas will certainly do you a favor (priyam).
