विश्वामित्र उवाच ।
पूर्णः स मासो राजर्षे दीयतां मम दक्षिणा ।
राजसूयनिमित्तं हि स्मर्यते स्ववचो यदि ॥९॥

pūrṇaḥ sa māso rājarṣe dīyatāṃ mama dakṣiṇā .
rājasūyanimittaṃ hi smaryate svavaco yadi.

Viśvāmitra said: "O royal sage, that month is now complete. Let my remuneration (dakṣiṇā) be given to me. This is, indeed, for the purpose of the rājasūya (Vedic ritual), if your own promise is remembered."
