मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-177

सोऽपि कृष्णपटे बालं दृष्ट्वाशीविषपीडितम् ।
नरेन्द्रलक्षणोपेतं चिन्तामाप नरेश्वरः ॥१७७॥
177. so'pi kṛṣṇapaṭe bālaṃ dṛṣṭvāśīviṣapīḍitam .
narendralakṣaṇopetaṃ cintāmāpa nareśvaraḥ.

177. saḥ nareśvaraḥ api kṛṣṇapaṭe āśīviṣapīḍitam narendralakṣaṇopetam bālam dṛṣṭvā cintām āpa.
177. The king (nareśvaraḥ), too, seeing the child on a black cloth, afflicted by a poisonous snake, yet endowed with royal marks, became full of anxiety.
