हा राजन्नद्य बालं त्वं पश्य सोमं महीतले ।

hā rājannadya bālaṃ tvaṃ paśya somaṃ mahītale .
ramamāṇaṃ purā dṛṣṭaṃ duṣṭāhinā mṛtam.

The queen said: 'O King, today behold the child Soma on the ground, whom you formerly saw playing, but who is now dead, having been bitten by a wicked snake.'
