मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-57

ततः स विप्रो नृपतेर्वल्कलान्ते दृढं धनम् ।
बद्ध्वा केशेष्वथादाय नृपपत्नीमकर्षयत् ॥५७॥
57. tataḥ sa vipro nṛpatervalkalānte dṛḍhaṃ dhanam .
baddhvā keśeṣvathādāya nṛpapatnīmakarṣayat.
57. tataḥ sa vipraḥ nṛpateḥ valkalānte dṛḍham dhanam
| baddhvā keśeṣu atha ādāya nṛpapatnīm akarṣayat
57. Then, having firmly tied the wealth to the hem of the king's bark garment, that Brahmin seized the king's wife and dragged her by her hair.
