हा वत्स कस्य पापस्य अपध्यानादिदं महत् ।
दुः खमापतितं घोरं यस्यान्तो नोपलभ्यते ॥१८१॥

hā vatsa kasya pāpasya apadhyānādidaṃ mahat .
duḥ khamāpatitaṃ ghoraṃ yasyānto nopalabhyate.

rāja patnī uvāca hā vatsa kasya pāpasya apadhyānāt idam
mahat duḥkham āpatitam ghoram yasya antaḥ na upalabhyate

The queen said: 'Oh my son! From the evil intent (apadhyāna) of what sin (pāpa) has this great, dreadful suffering fallen upon us, an end to which cannot be found?'
