मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-240

पुष्पवर्षञ्च सुमहद्देवदुन्दुभिनिस्वनम् ।
ततस्ततो वर्तमाने समाजे देवसंकुले ॥२४०॥
240. puṣpavarṣañca sumahaddevadundubhinisvanam .
tatastato vartamāne samāje devasaṃkule.

240. And a very great shower of flowers (puṣpavarṣa), along with the sound of celestial drums (devadundubhi), occurred then and there, while an assembly crowded with gods was present.
