मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-166

श्रुत्वा दुः खी तदा राजा देवान् शरणमीयिवान् ।
स्वस्ति कुर्वन्तु मे देवाः शैव्याया बालकस्य च ॥१६६॥
166. śrutvā duḥ khī tadā rājā devān śaraṇamīyivān .

166. Hearing this, the king became distressed. He then sought refuge with the gods, praying, "May the gods grant welfare to me, and to Shaivyā, and to the child."
