मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-148

एवं वर्षशतं पूर्णं गतं तत्र कुयोनिषु ।
अपश्यच्च कदाचित् स राजा तत् स्वकुलोद्भवम् ॥१४८॥
148. evaṃ varṣaśataṃ pūrṇaṃ gataṃ tatra kuyoniṣu .
apaśyacca kadācit sa rājā tat svakulodbhavam.
148. evam varṣa-śatam pūrṇam gatam tatra ku-yoniṣu |
apaśyat ca kadācit sa rājā tat sva-kula-udbhavam
148. In this way, a full hundred years passed for him in those lowly births. Then, one day, that king saw his own descendant.
