मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-128

निद्राभिभूतो रूक्षाङ्गो निश्चेष्टः सुप्त एव च ।
तत्रापि शयनीये स दृष्टवानद्भुतं हमत् ॥१२८॥
128. nidrābhibhūto rūkṣāṅgo niśceṣṭaḥ supta eva ca .
tatrāpi śayanīye sa dṛṣṭavānadbhutaṃ hamat.
128. nidrābhibhūtaḥ rūkṣāṅgaḥ niśceṣṭaḥ suptaḥ eva ca
tatra api śayanīye saḥ dṛṣṭavān adbhutam hamat
128. Overcome by sleep, with his body grown lean, motionless, and indeed fast asleep, he then, even on his bed, saw something amazing and destructive.
