मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-165

गतेत्यपृच्छत् तत्रस्थान् पुक्कसांस्तु स सम्भ्रमात् ।
नेत्युचुः केचित् तत्रस्था एवमेवापरेऽब्रुवन् ॥१६५॥
165. gatetyapṛcchat tatrasthān pukkasāṃstu sa sambhramāt .
netyucuḥ kecit tatrasthā evamevāpare'bruvan.
165. gata iti apṛcchat tatrasthān pukkkasān tu sa sambhramāt
na iti ūcuḥ kecit tatrasthāḥ evam eva apare abruvan
165. Confused, he asked the outcasts who were present there, "Has she gone?" Some of those present replied, "No," while others spoke in the same manner.
