अर्धदग्धाः शवाः श्यामा विकसद्दन्तपङ्क्तयः ।
हसन्तीवाग्निमध्यस्थाः कायस्येयं दशा त्विति ॥११३॥

Half-burnt, dark-colored corpses, with their rows of teeth revealed, seem to be laughing while situated in the midst of the fire, as if saying, "Indeed, this is the condition of the body."
