मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-11

विश्वामित्र उवाच ।
एवमस्तु महाराज आगमिष्याम्यहं पुनः ।
शापं तव प्रदास्यामि न चेदद्य प्रदास्यसि ॥११॥
11. viśvāmitra uvāca .
evamastu mahārāja āgamiṣyāmyahaṃ punaḥ .
śāpaṃ tava pradāsyāmi na cedadya pradāsyasi.
11. viśvāmitraḥ uvāca evam astu mahārāja āgamiṣyāmi aham
punaḥ śāpam tava pradāsyāmi na cet adya pradāsyasi
11. Viśvāmitra said, "So be it, O great king. I will return. I will bestow a curse upon you if you do not deliver (what is promised) today."
