किं तव स्मितसंलापा मम पापस्य विस्मृताः ॥२६॥

26. mahadduḥ khamidaṃ bhadre yat tvamevaṃ bravīṣi mām .

O good lady, this is a great sorrow, that you speak to me in this manner. Have your smiling conversations with me been forgotten due to my sin (pāpa)?
