मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-77

विश्वामित्र उवाच ।
चतुर्भागः स्थितो योऽयं दिवसस्य नराधिप ।
एष एव प्रतीक्ष्यो मे वक्तव्यं नोत्तरं त्वया ॥७७॥
77. viśvāmitra uvāca .
caturbhāgaḥ sthito yo'yaṃ divasasya narādhipa .
eṣa eva pratīkṣyo me vaktavyaṃ nottaraṃ tvayā.
77. viśvāmitra uvāca caturbhāgaḥ sthitaḥ yaḥ ayam divasasya
narādhipa eṣaḥ eva pratīkṣyaḥ me vaktavyam na uttaram tvayā
77. Viśvāmitra said: 'O ruler of men, this remaining quarter of the day is indeed what I shall wait for. No further reply is to be given by you.'
