मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-151

पुनश्च भक्षितः सोऽपि भार्यां शोचितुमुद्यतः ।
हा शैव्ये क्व गतास्यद्य मामिहापास्य दुः खितम् ॥१५१॥
151. punaśca bhakṣitaḥ so'pi bhāryāṃ śocitumudyataḥ .
hā śaivye kva gatāsyadya māmihāpāsya duḥ khitam.
151. punaḥ ca bhakṣitaḥ saḥ api bhāryām śocitum udyataḥ
hā śaivye kva gatā asi adya mām iha apāsya duḥkhitam
151. Again, as if devoured himself, he was preparing to lament for his wife. 'Alas, O Shaivya, where have you gone today, abandoning me here in distress?'
