मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-190

कस्य जानुप्रणीतेन पिङ्गेन क्षितिरेणुना ।
ममोत्तरीयमुत्सङ्गं तथाङ्गं मलमेष्यति ॥१९०॥
190. kasya jānupraṇītena piṅgena kṣitireṇunā .
mamottarīyamutsaṅgaṃ tathāṅgaṃ malameṣyati.
190. kasya jānupranītena piṅgena kṣitireṇunā mama
uttarīyam utsaṅgam tathā aṅgam malam eṣyati
190. "By whose yellowish earth-dust, brought (to me) from crawling on their knees, will my upper garment, my lap, and my body become soiled?"
