मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-147

दिवसे दिवसे जन्म प्राणिनः प्राणिनस्तदा ।
अपश्यद् दुः खसन्तप्तो दिनं वर्षशतं तथा ॥१४७॥
147. divase divase janma prāṇinaḥ prāṇinastadā .
apaśyad duḥ khasantapto dinaṃ varṣaśataṃ tathā.

147. He then saw creatures being born day after day. Greatly afflicted by sorrow, he perceived each day as if it were a hundred years.
