मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-36

पक्षिण ऊचुः ।
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे प्राप्तो विश्वामित्रो महातपाः ।
दृष्ट्वा तु तं हरिश्चन्द्रं पतितं भुवि मूर्च्छितम् ॥३६॥
36. pakṣiṇa ūcuḥ .
etasminnantare prāpto viśvāmitro mahātapāḥ .
dṛṣṭvā tu taṃ hariścandraṃ patitaṃ bhuvi mūrcchitam.
36. pakṣiṇaḥ ūcuḥ etasmin antare prāptaḥ viśvāmitraḥ mahātāpāḥ
dṛṣṭvā tu tam hariścandram patitam bhuvi mūrcchitam
36. The birds said: Meanwhile, the great ascetic (mahātapas), Viśvāmitra, arrived. He saw Hariścandra, fallen unconscious on the ground.
