मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-79

विश्वामित्रे गते राजा भयशोकाब्धिमध्यगः ।
सर्वाकारं विनिश्चित्य प्रोवाचोच्चैरधोमुखः ॥७९॥

79. After Viśvāmitra had departed, the king, immersed in an ocean of fear and sorrow, having understood the entire situation, spoke loudly with his face cast down.
