मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-58

रुरोद रोहिताश्वोऽपि दृष्ट्वा कृष्टां तु मातरम् ।
हस्तेन वस्त्रमाकर्षन् काकपक्षधरः शिशुः ॥५८॥
58. ruroda rohitāśvo'pi dṛṣṭvā kṛṣṭāṃ tu mātaram .
hastena vastramākarṣan kākapakṣadharaḥ śiśuḥ.
58. ruroda rohitāśvaḥ api dṛṣṭvā kṛṣṭām tu mātaram
| hastena vastram ākarṣan kākapakṣadharaḥ śiśuḥ
58. The child Rohitaśva, with his hair like a crow's wing, also wept when he saw his mother being dragged, pulling her garment with his hand.
