मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-8, verse-103

कस्यचित्त्वथ कालस्य मृतचेलापहारकः ।
हरिश्चन्द्रोऽभवद्राजा श्मशाने तद्वशानुगः ॥१०३॥
103. kasyacittvatha kālasya mṛtacelāpahārakaḥ .
hariścandro'bhavadrājā śmaśāne tadvaśānugaḥ.
103. kasyacit tu atha kālasya mṛtacelāpahārakaḥ
haricandraḥ abhavat rājā śmaśāne tadvaśānugaḥ
103. Then, after some time, King Hariścandra became a taker of garments from corpses at the cremation ground, acting under the control of that (person).
