मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-9, verse-80

मद्यपाऽसाधुवृत्ता च प्रतिकूला च या भवेत ।
व्याधिता वाऽधिवेत्तव्या हिंस्राऽर्थघ्नी च सर्वदा ॥८०॥
80. madyapā'sādhuvṛttā ca pratikūlā ca yā bhavet ,
vyādhitā vā'dhivettavyā hiṁsrā'rthaghnī ca sarvadā.
80. madyapā asādhuvṛttā ca pratikūlā ca yā bhavet
vyādhitā vā adhivetavyā hiṃsrā arthaghnī ca sarvadā
80. yā madyapā asādhuvṛttā ca pratikūlā ca bhavet,

80. A wife who is a drunkard, ill-behaved, hostile, or diseased, should be superseded (by another wife); as also one who is always violent or wasteful of wealth.
