ज्येष्ठेन जातमात्रेण पुत्री भवति मानवः ।
पितॄणामनृणश्चैव स तस्मात सर्वमर्हति ॥१०६॥

Through the eldest son, immediately upon his birth, a man becomes a father. He is also freed from the debt to his ancestors (pitṛs). Therefore, that (eldest son) is entitled to everything.
