मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-9, verse-238

असंभोज्या ह्यसंयाज्या असंपाठ्याऽविवाहिनः ।
चरेयुः पृथिवीं दीनाः सर्वधर्मबहिष्कृताः ॥२३८॥
238. asaṁbhojyā hyasaṁyājyā asaṁpāṭhyā'vivāhinaḥ ,
careyuḥ pṛthivīṁ dīnāḥ sarvadharmabahiṣkṛtāḥ.

238. Indeed, those who are unfit for commensality, for performing Vedic rituals, for instruction, and for marital relations, being excluded from all religious and social duties (dharma), should wander the earth wretchedly.
