मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-9, verse-292

सर्वकण्टकपापिष्ठं हेमकारं तु पार्थिवः ।
प्रवर्तमानमन्याये छेदयेत्लवशः क्षुरैः ॥२९२॥
292. sarvakaṇṭakapāpiṣṭhaṁ hemakāraṁ tu pārthivaḥ ,
pravartamānamanyāye chedayetlavaśaḥ kṣuraiḥ.

292. The king should, however, cause the goldsmith, who is the most wicked of all rogues and is acting unjustly, to be cut piecemeal with sharp knives.
