मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-9, verse-146

धनं यो बिभृयाद भ्रातुर्मृतस्य स्त्रियमेव च ??।
सोऽपत्यं भ्रातुरुत्पाद्य दद्यात तस्यैव तद्धनम ॥१४६॥
146. dhanaṁ yo bibhṛyād bhrāturmṛtasya striyameva ca ??,
so'patyaṁ bhrāturutpādya dadyāt tasyaiva taddhanam.
146. dhanam yaḥ bibhṛyāt bhrātuḥ mṛtasya striyam eva ca saḥ
apatyam bhrātuḥ utpādya dadyāt tasya eva tat dhanam

146. He who maintains the wealth of his deceased brother, and also his wife, should, after begetting an offspring for his brother, give that wealth to that (child).
