महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-94

अभिमन्योः सुभद्रायां जन्म चोत्तमतेजसः ।
मयस्य मोक्षो ज्वलनाद्भुजंगस्य च मोक्षणम् ।
महर्षेर्मन्दपालस्य शार्ङ्ग्यं तनयसंभवः ॥९४॥
94. abhimanyoḥ subhadrāyāṁ janma cottamatejasaḥ ,
mayasya mokṣo jvalanādbhujaṁgasya ca mokṣaṇam ,
maharṣermandapālasya śārṅgyaṁ tanayasaṁbhavaḥ.

94. Also, the birth of Abhimanyu, of great valor, from Subhadrā; the liberation of Maya from the fire, and the release of the serpent; and the birth of sons to the great sage Mandapāla, (who became known as) Śārṅgya.
