महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-146

प्रत्याख्यानं च कृष्णस्य राज्ञा दुर्योधनेन वै ।
शमार्थं याचमानस्य पक्षयोरुभयोर्हितम् ॥१४६॥
146. pratyākhyānaṁ ca kṛṣṇasya rājñā duryodhanena vai ,
śamārthaṁ yācamānasya pakṣayorubhayorhitam.
146. pratyākhyānam ca kṛṣṇasya rājñā duryodhanena
vai śamārtham yācamānasya pakṣayoḥ ubhayoḥ hitam
146. And indeed, King Duryodhana's rejection of Kṛṣṇa, who was pleading for peace beneficial to both parties.
