महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-193

यत्र राजा महाप्राज्ञः सर्वधर्मभृतां वरः ।
राज्ञां तानि शरीराणि दाहयामास शास्त्रतः ॥१९३॥
193. yatra rājā mahāprājñaḥ sarvadharmabhṛtāṁ varaḥ ,
rājñāṁ tāni śarīrāṇi dāhayāmāsa śāstrataḥ.

193. Where the king, greatly wise and pre-eminent among all upholders of dharma, arranged for the cremation of those bodies of kings according to scriptural rites.
