महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-225

शरीरं वासुदेवस्य रामस्य च महात्मनः ।
संस्कारं लम्भयामास वृष्णीनां च प्रधानतः ॥२२५॥
225. śarīraṁ vāsudevasya rāmasya ca mahātmanaḥ ,
saṁskāraṁ lambhayāmāsa vṛṣṇīnāṁ ca pradhānataḥ.

saṃskāram lambhayāmāsa vṛṣṇīnām ca pradhānataḥ
225. He arranged the funeral rites for the bodies of Vasudeva and the great-souled Rama, and also, chiefly, for the Vrishnis.
