महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-165

अश्वत्थामापि चात्रैव द्रोणे युधि निपातिते ।
अस्त्रं प्रादुश्चकारोग्रं नारायणममर्षितः ॥१६५॥
165. aśvatthāmāpi cātraiva droṇe yudhi nipātite ,
astraṁ prāduścakārograṁ nārāyaṇamamarṣitaḥ.
165. aśvatthāmā api ca atra eva droṇe yudhi nipātite
astram prāduś cakāra ugram nārāyaṇam amarṣitaḥ
165. And Aśvatthāman, enraged, when Droṇa was slain in that very battle, manifested the fierce Nārāyaṇa weapon.
