महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-242

द्वैपायनौष्ठपुटनिःसृतमप्रमेयं पुण्यं पवित्रमथ पापहरं शिवं च ।
यो भारतं समधिगच्छति वाच्यमानं किं तस्य पुष्करजलैरभिषेचनेन ॥२४२॥
242. dvaipāyanauṣṭhapuṭaniḥsṛtamaprameyaṁ; puṇyaṁ pavitramatha pāpaharaṁ śivaṁ ca ,
yo bhārataṁ samadhigacchati vācyamānaṁ; kiṁ tasya puṣkarajalairabhiṣecanena.
242. dvaipāyana auṣṭhapuṭa niḥsṛtam aprameyam
puṇyam pavitram atha pāpaharam śivam
ca yaḥ bhāratam samadhigacchati vācyamānam
kim tasya puṣkarajalaiḥ abhiṣecanena
