अथर्चीकादयोऽभ्येत्य पितरो ब्राह्मणर्षभम् ।
तं क्षमस्वेति सिषिधुस्ततः स विरराम ह ॥६॥

Then, Rchika and other ancestors approached him, the foremost among Brahmins, and restrained him, saying, "Please forgive!" Thereupon, he indeed ceased (his acts of vengeance).
