महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-180

प्रतिजज्ञे दृढक्रोधो द्रौणिर्यत्र महारथः ।
अहत्वा सर्वपाञ्चालान्धृष्टद्युम्नपुरोगमान् ।
पाण्डवांश्च सहामात्यान्न विमोक्ष्यामि दंशनम् ॥१८०॥
180. pratijajñe dṛḍhakrodho drauṇiryatra mahārathaḥ ,
ahatvā sarvapāñcālāndhṛṣṭadyumnapurogamān ,
pāṇḍavāṁśca sahāmātyānna vimokṣyāmi daṁśanam.
180. pratijajñe dṛḍhakrodhaḥ drauṇiḥ yatra
mahārathaḥ | ahatvā sarvapāñcālān
dhṛṣṭadyumnapurōgamān | pāṇḍavān
ca sahaamātyān na vimokṣyāmi daṃśanam
180. In this (Parva), the great warrior Drauṇi, firm in his wrath, vowed: 'I will not remove my armor until I have killed all the Pāñcālas, with Dhṛṣṭadyumna as their leader, and also the Pāṇḍavas along with their ministers.'
