महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-12

तदेतत्कथितं सर्वं मया वो मुनिसत्तमाः ।
यथा देशः स विख्यातस्त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुतः ॥१२॥
12. tadetatkathitaṁ sarvaṁ mayā vo munisattamāḥ ,
yathā deśaḥ sa vikhyātastriṣu lokeṣu viśrutaḥ.
12. tat etat kathitam sarvam mayā vaḥ munisattamāḥ
yathā deśaḥ saḥ vikhyātaḥ triṣu lokeṣu viśrutaḥ
12. All this has been recounted by me to you, O best of sages, concerning how that region is renowned and celebrated throughout the three worlds.
