महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-194

एतदेकादशं प्रोक्तं पर्वातिकरुणं महत् ।
सप्तविंशतिरध्यायाः पर्वण्यस्मिन्नुदाहृताः ॥१९४॥
194. etadekādaśaṁ proktaṁ parvātikaruṇaṁ mahat ,
saptaviṁśatiradhyāyāḥ parvaṇyasminnudāhṛtāḥ.
194. etat ekādaśam proktam parva atikaruṇam mahat
saptaviṃśatiḥ adhyāyāḥ parvaṇi asmin udāhṛtāḥ
194. This eleventh book is said to be the very pathetic and great Parva. Twenty-seven chapters are narrated in this book.
