महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-1

ऋषय ऊचुः ।
समन्तपञ्चकमिति यदुक्तं सूतनन्दन ।
एतत्सर्वं यथान्यायं श्रोतुमिच्छामहे वयम् ॥१॥
1. ṛṣaya ūcuḥ ,
samantapañcakamiti yaduktaṁ sūtanandana ,
etatsarvaṁ yathānyāyaṁ śrotumicchāmahe vayam.
1. ṛṣayaḥ ūcuḥ samantapañcakam iti yat uktam sūtanandana
etat sarvam yathānyāyam śrotum icchāmahe vayam
1. The sages said: 'O son of Sūta, we wish to hear in full detail all that has been told about Samantapañcaka.'
