महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-128

एतदारण्यकं पर्व तृतीयं परिकीर्तितम् ।
अत्राध्यायशते द्वे तु संख्याते परमर्षिणा ।
एकोनसप्ततिश्चैव तथाध्यायाः प्रकीर्तिताः ॥१२८॥
128. etadāraṇyakaṁ parva tṛtīyaṁ parikīrtitam ,
atrādhyāyaśate dve tu saṁkhyāte paramarṣiṇā ,
ekonasaptatiścaiva tathādhyāyāḥ prakīrtitāḥ.

parikīrtitam atra adhyāyaśate dve tu
saṃkhyāte paramarṣiṇā ekonasaptatiḥ
ca eva tathā adhyāyāḥ prakīrtitāḥ
128. This is proclaimed as the third section, the Āraṇyaka. In it, two hundred chapters, as well as sixty-nine chapters, are enumerated by the great sage.
