महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-13

ऋषय ऊचुः ।
अक्षौहिण्य इति प्रोक्तं यत्त्वया सूतनन्दन ।
एतदिच्छामहे श्रोतुं सर्वमेव यथातथम् ॥१३॥
13. ṛṣaya ūcuḥ ,
akṣauhiṇya iti proktaṁ yattvayā sūtanandana ,
etadicchāmahe śrotuṁ sarvameva yathātatham.

sūtanandana | etat icchāmahe śrotum sarvam eva yathātatham
13. The sages said, "O son of Sūta, we wish to hear a complete and accurate account of what you have described as 'akṣauhiṇīs'."
