महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-135

सप्तषष्टिरथो पूर्णा श्लोकाग्रमपि मे शृणु ।
श्लोकानां द्वे सहस्रे तु श्लोकाः पञ्चाशदेव तु ।
पर्वण्यस्मिन्समाख्याताः संख्यया परमर्षिणा ॥१३५॥
135. saptaṣaṣṭiratho pūrṇā ślokāgramapi me śṛṇu ,
ślokānāṁ dve sahasre tu ślokāḥ pañcāśadeva tu ,
parvaṇyasminsamākhyātāḥ saṁkhyayā paramarṣiṇā.
135. saptaṣaṣṭiḥ atho pūrṇā ślokāgram
api me śṛṇu ślokānām dve sahasre tu
ślokāḥ pañcāśat eva tu parvaṇi
asmin samākhyātāḥ saṃkhyayā paramarṣiṇā
135. The sixty-seven chapters are complete. Now, hear from me the total number of verses: exactly two thousand and fifty verses have been enumerated in this book by the supreme sage.
