महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-2, verse-220

अतः परं निबोधेदं मौसलं पर्व दारुणम् ।
यत्र ते पुरुषव्याघ्राः शस्त्रस्पर्शसहा युधि ।
ब्रह्मदण्डविनिष्पिष्टाः समीपे लवणाम्भसः ॥२२०॥
220. ataḥ paraṁ nibodhedaṁ mausalaṁ parva dāruṇam ,
yatra te puruṣavyāghrāḥ śastrasparśasahā yudhi ,
brahmadaṇḍaviniṣpiṣṭāḥ samīpe lavaṇāmbhasaḥ.

220. Now, listen to this terrible Mausala Parva, in which those tigers among men, who could withstand the touch of weapons in battle, were crushed by the rod of Brahma (a divine curse) near the salty ocean.
