मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-11, verse-8

अतः स्वल्पीयसि द्रव्ये यः सोमं पिबति द्विजः ।
स पीतसोमपूर्वोऽपि न तस्याप्नोति तत्फलम ॥८॥
8. ataḥ svalpīyasi dravye yaḥ somaṁ pibati dvijaḥ ,
sa pītasomapūrvo'pi na tasyāpnoti tatphalam.

8. Therefore, a twice-born (dvija) who drinks Soma while possessing very meager resources does not attain the fruit of that act, even if he has previously drunk Soma.
