मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-11, verse-191

येषां द्विजानां सावित्री नानूच्येत यथाविधि ।
तांश्चारयित्वा त्रीन कृच्छ्रान यथाविध्योपनाययेत ॥१९१॥
191. yeṣāṁ dvijānāṁ sāvitrī nānūcyeta yathāvidhi ,
tāṁścārayitvā trīn kṛcchrān yathāvidhyopanāyayet.

ca cārayitvā trīn kṛcchrān yathāvidhi upanāyayeta

191. For those twice-born (dvija) individuals for whom the Sāvitrī mantra has not been recited according to the proper procedure, one should initiate them again, in due form, after making them perform three Kṛcchra penances.
