तथा ज्ञानाग्निना पापं सर्वं दहति वेदवित ॥२४६॥

tathā jñānāgninā pāpaṁ sarvaṁ dahati vedavit.

Just as fire, by its inherent power, instantly consumes the fuel it encounters, similarly, a knower of the Veda burns away all sin with the fire of knowledge.
