मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-11, verse-26

देवस्वं ब्राह्मणस्वं वा लोभेनोपहिनस्ति यः ।
स पापात्मा परे लोके गृध्रौच्छिष्टेन जीवति ॥२६॥
26. devasvaṁ brāhmaṇasvaṁ vā lobhenopahinasti yaḥ ,
sa pāpātmā pare loke gṛdhraucchiṣṭena jīvati.

saḥ pāpātmā pare loke gṛdhraucchiṣṭena jīvati
26. yaḥ devasvam vā brāhmaṇasvam lobhena upahinasti

26. He who, out of greed, appropriates the property of gods or brahmins, that wicked person sustains himself on the leavings of vultures in the next world.
