मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-11, verse-137

क्रव्यादांस्तु मृगान हत्वा धेनुं दद्यात पयस्विनीम ।
अक्रव्यादान वत्सतरीमुष्ट्रं हत्वा तु कृष्णलम ॥१३७॥
137. kravyādāṁstu mṛgān hatvā dhenuṁ dadyāt payasvinīm ,
akravyādān vatsatarīmuṣṭraṁ hatvā tu kṛṣṇalam.

137. If one has killed carnivorous wild animals, one should give a milch cow; if non-carnivorous ones, a heifer. But if one has killed a camel, one should give a Kṛṣṇala (a specific weight of gold).
