मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-11, verse-236

ऋषयः संयतात्मानः फलमूलानिलाशनाः ।
तपसैव प्रपश्यन्ति त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम ॥२३६॥
236. ṛṣayaḥ saṁyatātmānaḥ phalamūlānilāśanāḥ ,
tapasaiva prapaśyanti trailokyaṁ sacarācaram.

236. Sages, whose inner selves (ātman) are controlled and who subsist on fruits, roots, and air, perceive the three worlds with all their moving and unmoving beings solely through their spiritual discipline (tapas).
