मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-11, verse-7

यस्य त्रैवार्षिकं भक्तं पर्याप्तं भृत्यवृत्तये ।
अधिकं वाऽपि विद्येत स सोमं पातुमर्हति ॥७॥
7. yasya traivārṣikaṁ bhaktaṁ paryāptaṁ bhṛtyavṛttaye ,
adhikaṁ vā'pi vidyeta sa somaṁ pātumarhati.

7. He who possesses provisions sufficient for three years, or even more, for the maintenance of his dependents, is entitled to drink Soma.
