बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-46, verse-95

देहादिं गणयेत् सव्ये जीवादिमपसव्यके ।
एवं विज्ञाय दैवज्ञस्ततस्तत्फलमादिशेत् ॥९५॥
95. dehādiṃ gaṇayet savye jīvādimapasavyake .
evaṃ vijñāya daivajñastatastatphalamādiśet.
95. dehādim gaṇayet savye jīvādim apasavyake evam
vijñāya daivajñaḥ tataḥ tat phalam ādiśet
95. One should count beginning with the body (deha) in the clockwise (direct) order, and beginning with the life (jīva) in the counter-clockwise (reverse) order. Having thus understood this, the astrologer (daivajña) should then declare its results.
